Maple cream is also known as maple butter, or maple spread. It is made from maple syrup that has been boiled further to remove more water. When it reaches a certain temperature it is then cooled and stirred until it becomes "creamy". There is no butter, cream, or other additives in it. It is called maple cream or maple butter because of its very smooth, "creamy" texture. It has the consistency of butter.
Use on toast, bagels, english muffins, frost cookies, on donuts, on ice cream and so much more!
Refrigerate after opening. Allow to warm up for a few minutes before use after removing from refrigerator. It will separate over time. If it does, just stir the maple syrup back into the creamy part again. Freeze for long term storage.
